Magic the Gathering EditorsFor less professional cards: A few months ago I used CCG Maker ($10) and got the symbol and card templates here. It has templates that allows you to make cards from a veriety of sets (e.g. Betas look a lot different than the new cards), and more importantly: Token creatures. You can type G in order to place green mana symbols, and it seems to know when you want 1 for 1 damage or the colorless mana symbol. The fonts look just like from the real cards as well. You can make all the Green cards you want for free.I recently found another free way to make less professional cards, called the MTG Editor. How do I print the cards? To make sure these cards are the appropriate size you can print them using CCG Maker. If you don't want to download it you should realize that the height, width, and dots per inch resolution of these cards is not yet ready to be printed. Make sure the width and height of these cards is around 2.5 by 3.5 inches. After printing the card images you can cut them out and easily slip the paper over a card while using a card sleeve. For best results use semi-glossy paper. How do I submit parody cards?Go here to find out. |
