Magic Cards: How do I submit parody cards?




You must follow these guidelines if you would like submit a card you made:

1.) Make sure the card has a professional quality. It should look at least as good as my own. Have the copyright and artist name, spellcheck, use the oracle text of cards to know how to phrase its ability, and make sure it looks like a real card.
2.) It must be a parody of Magic. It must make fun of the rules, concepts, or tendancies of the game. You can't just make fun of something else, such as politics or a movie.
3.) If the artwork is not entirely your own artwork, it must be changed in an interesting way. (Hopefully as a parody of the original art's subject matter). The artist should be you.
4.) You must explain in the email whether or not the artwork used is your own; and how you changed it (if it isn't completely your own artwork).
5.) Make sure your card is a jpg or zipped bmp file. It may be larger than the card templates, but no smaller. The file size must not be larger than 100kb.
6.) Send the file in an email to mageslime@yahoo.com. The topic must be The Magic Deck submission.
