11.29.2002Enix Square Strategy Press ConferenceThe making of Dragon Quest 8 for PlayStation 2 and Dragon Quest Monsters 3 for Game Boy Advance were both confirmed at the conference. The conference also stated that screen shots and information were released to magazines concearning the new Dragon Quest games. If you didn't already know, Enix is the company that made the Dragon Quest (Dragon Warrior) series, and Square made the Final Fantasy. April 1st they will merge into a single company.
Shonen Jump: Dragon Quest Rumors Apperently the next issue of Shonen Jump is featuring information on Dragon Quest 8 and Dragon Quest Monsters 3. Apperantly Dragon Quest 8 will be for PlayStation 2 and will have remarkable cell-shaded graphics. The main character of Dragon Quest Monsters 3 will be Keifer and it will be for Game Boy Advance. This may be a hoax, but a pretty complete scan of the Shonen Jump article is available. A scan of a cell-shaded screen shot is below:
